Announcing the new community portal!

Hello, amazing Appsmith community!

We are thrilled to announce the beta launch of our brand-new community portal, designed to bring our developer community closer together and provide you with a more engaging, collaborative, and resourceful platform.

After moving our forums to Discord in the fall, we started thinking about how to create a better portal experience. As our community has grown, we realized that it was time to move beyond the Discourse forum we used in the past. Since the beginning of the year, we've been hard at work creating a centralized space tailored to your needs. Now, we're excited to share this new portal with you!

Here's a sneak peek at what our new community portal offers today and coming soon:

  1. Customizable User Profiles: Create your own profile to showcase your skills, interests, and projects, making it easier for others to find and connect with you.
  2. Community Member Directory: Discover fellow community members, collaborate on projects, or simply network with like-minded professionals.
  3. Job Board: Explore consulting opportunities and freelance work within our community, helping you find new gigs or recruit talented developers for your projects.
  4. Blog Posts & Knowledge Base Articles: Stay up-to-date with the latest news, tips, and best practices from our community, as well as in-depth articles on various topics.
  5. Resource Library (upcoming): We have big plans to build a comprehensive resource library, where community members can share templates, code snippets, and other useful tools.
  6. Community Programs & Partnerships (upcoming): Look forward to new initiatives to reward active users and foster collaborations with our partners.
  7. Meetups & Events (upcoming): Easily discover and participate in community meetups and events happening around the world.
  8. ... and more!

To start, log in using Google or Github SSO and create your profile. We invite you to explore the new community portal, connect with others (coming soon), and share your expertise. Your feedback is invaluable to us, so don't hesitate to let us know what you think, what you'd like to see, or if you encounter any issues.

Together, let's make our new community portal a vibrant, inclusive, and valuable space for all members. We can't wait to see what incredible things we'll achieve as we continue to grow and learn together!

Happy coding, and see you in the portal!
