Error When Using “Import From Git Repository”

Issue

I am trying to import an AppSmith app from GitHub using "Import from Git repository", but I'm getting an "Internal server error while processing request". I added the SSH key to my repo's Deploy Keys, but it's not working. Can you help me?

Resolution

Users can try one of the following solutions:

  • Create a new workspace and import the app there.

Additional Note: On the free edition, you can only have up to 3 apps connected to Git private repositories and unlimited apps connected to public repositories. If you are getting errors, verify if the limit has been reched.
