I want to reduce the text and button padding size on Appsmith, but it's not currently possible. However, the Appsmith team has plans to add this feature in the future. Additionally, I asked if it's possible to reduce the line height of text and buttons, but this is also not currently possible. The team plans to support these changes with a custom CSS project in the future.

They are working on a feature to allow for custom CSS styling of widgets and an option to pass custom classes to widgets. This will enable users to customize the font style, background color, border, and other CSS properties of widgets. It may also allow for users to add their own theme or custom CSS styles that override Appsmith's base CSS. Until this feature is released, there is no way to reduce the line height of text and buttons.
