Pariban is managed with a modern and well-organized concept, making it a very family-friendly destination. Pariban's management's consistent efforts to continuously improve have made travel agents confident in designing Medan Tour Package. Here are some of the excellent facilities you can enjoy:

Variety of Hot Springs: There are more than 5 pools with varying temperature levels. You can choose the one that best suits your body's heat tolerance.

Waterboom & Children's Pool: Unlike other traditional baths, Pariban is equipped with water slides and a shallow pool safe for children to play in.

Unique Saung & Gazebo: Surrounding the pool are rows of huts (saung) with roofs typical of Karo Batak traditional houses. This is a comfortable place to relax, store your belongings, or enjoy a meal with the family.

Supporting Facilities: Spacious parking area, clean showers, restrooms, prayer room, and a cafeteria serving hot food and drinks.

Health Benefits of Sulfur Water

The hot water in Pariban comes directly from the geothermal flow of Mount Sibayak. Its natural sulfur content is believed to have many health benefits, including:

Improves blood circulation.

Relaxes tense and aching muscles.

Treats various skin problems (itching).

Provides a relaxing effect to reduce stress.

For those of you visiting Berastagi and planning to visit Pariban, you can follow these directions. The Pariban Natural Baths are located in Semangat Gunung Village, Merdeka District, Karo Regency.

Access: From the Medan-Berastagi highway, enter through the Doulu Police Post intersection (Sidebuk-Debuk area).

Distance: Approximately 10-15 minutes' drive from the citrus orchard or the Mikie Holiday Hotel.

Tips for Visiting Pariban

Best Time: Early morning (around 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM) for the freshest air and clear mountain views, or late afternoon for a more serene and cool atmosphere.

Clothing: Bring a change of clothes and toiletries (soap/shampoo) as the sulfur water has a distinctive odor.

Avoid Jewelry: It's best to remove silver or other metal jewelry before entering the pool, as the sulfur water can cause oxidation (blackening).

Experience a refreshed and rejuvenated body after soaking in the Pariban Natural Baths. This is a must-visit destination for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
