June Contest: Custom Widgets!

Low-Code platforms are great for speeding up development, but for more advanced use cases you may end up hitting a wall of feature limitations. This usually means compromising on your feature requirements, or tacking on a 3rd party solution. That's where Appsmith's Custom Widgets come in!

You can build pretty much anything with a Custom Widget, like new types of input widgets, UI components for displaying different types of data, or even 'worker' widgets that perform complex operations. This month, we want to see your best Custom Widgets for extending the features and functionality of Appsmith!

Ready to win some custom Appsmith swag?!

Here's how you can enter:

  • Build a new custom widget, or create a video or tutorial about custom widgets
  • Submit your template, video or tutorial to the community portal during the month of June

NOTE: Anyone can upload community templates, but the other content types (blogs, tutorials, videos) are locked until your profile is complete and you have earned enough points. If your profile is complete but you don't see the extra options, you can earn more points through comments, likes, daily visits to the portal, and uploading templates.

I've only made HTML reports with Custom Widgets.  I hope I learn something from all the smart JS people!

HaHa, thanks for that, Ron.  I've got so much still to learn.  I'd like to go 'interactive' with my widgets.  I'm hoping to get some insights that don't take me days to figure out.
